Stop Uganda’s “Kill The Gays” Bill Author From Entering The U.S.
David Bahati, the author of Uganda’s (photo below) now internationally infamous “Kill The Gays” bill, is scheduled to attend the National Prayer Breakfast on February 4th. We cannot allow him to enter this country.
The “Kill The Gays” bill is designed to eradicate homosexuals from Uganda. This is genocide in its most hateful form. It literally calls for anyone who IS homosexual to be put to death, and calls for anyone who knows anyone who is homosexual to be jailed if they do not tell the state the names of the people known to be homosexual.
The ramifications are staggering. And yet Bahati has said he will push to have these portions of the bill included.
We need to take a stand. Contact the U.S. State Department. Sign this petition demanding Bahati be prevented from gaining access to this country.
It truly is a matter of life and death.

What a great resource!
It is now rumored that The Family has 'uninvited' Bahati. Anyone could easily imagine the massive demonstration of gay Americans waiting for Bahati at the airport.
This man is destined to be set aside by Museveni, and the bill is now confronting severe opposition in the Cabinet.
Still, in my opinion, the American extremists who have fostered the anti-gay bill in Uganda are barely getting the exposure they deserve, except that Rachel Maddow did tear the polish off each one of them in public, e.g. Scott lively, Ricard Cohen, and Rick Warren.
Recently on the GayUganda blog, gug has been highlighting the role played by rev. Ssempa.
Even though this is a highly complex story with roots as far back as 1986...and beyond...it will forever live on as an excellent example of what happens when the State sticks its nose in the bedrooms of the nation, guided by self-interested institutionalized religions.
The topic of discussion shared here was a big matter of concern....and I think the government of Uganda is getting a bit more harsh with such homosexual people.
